Rochester is led early by newcomers Jeff Taffe (2-2-4) and Graham Mink (1-3-4), who boast eight 20-goal AHL seasons between them... Michal Repik also has four points (2-2-4) to begin his sophomore pro campaign, and veteran additions Mike York (1-2-3) and Chris Taylor (1-2-3) have each chipped in three points thus far... Former first-round draft pick Jiri Tlusty has scored three of Toronto's eight regulation goals; five other skaters show one goal apiece... The Marlies have not surrendered a third-period goal through three games, while the Amerks have scored seven of their 12 in the third frame... Toronto won six of eight meetings from Rochester last season (6-1-1-0).
San Antonio takes its league-best nine points (4-0-1-0) into Toyota Center on Friday to kick off its 12-game season series with intra-state rival Houston... The Rampage have won three straight and are 3-0-1-0 on a four-game road swing... Third-year defenseman Sean Sullivan is tied for the league lead with eight points (2-6-8) for San Antonio; both he and Viktor Tikhonov (1-4-5) have registered a point in four of the club's first five contests... Kevin Porter has racked up seven points (2-5-7) on the young season... Pete Zingoni and defenseman Clayton Stoner each has two goals for the Aeros, who are out to a 2-2-0-0 start...
