
Four Pats Suit Up For Team WHL Tonight

Regina, Saskatchewan - Tonight in Medicine Hat the Regina Pats will have four players taking part in game six of the ADT Canada/Russia Challenge. Jordan Eberle, Nick Ross, Logan Pyett and Colten Teubert will all be representing your Regina Pats in the all important game 6.
Team WHL which is coached by Regina Pats Head Coach Curtis Hunt, dropped a 5-1 decision to team Russia last night in Cranbrook. Your Regina Pats were represented by two defencemen in game 5 of the series, Nick Ross and Colten Teubert both played in the game, as team Russia has moved the series to 3-2, making tonight's contest a very important one.
Hunt, who was the assistant coach for the Canadian National Junior team last season, will be serving as the Head Coach for team WHL. Hunt is in his fourth season behind the Pats bench and has led them to a 18-11-0-0 record, which is good enough for 1st in the East division.
Eberle, (5'11",170 Ibs) the second year forward out of Regina, SK has started the 2007-08 season on fire, 2nd in the WHL in goals and 10th in scoring with 21 goals and 13 assists in 27 games. This past summer, Eberle took part in the U-18 National program, where the team finished in fourth place. Eberle will be taking part in game six of the challenge which will go tonight in Medicine Hat.
Ross, (6'1",194 Ibs) the 1st round pick of the Phoenix Coyotes, has also got off to a fine start in the 2007-08 campaign leading all Pats defencemen in assists with 19. Ross the native of Lethbridge, AB, took part in last night's 5-1 loss against team Russia, and will look to avenge that loss tonight in Medicine Hat.
Teubert, (6'4",181 Ibs) the native of White Rock, BC, will be playing in his first ADT challenge come this week. The towering rearguard was the 1st overall selection by the Pats in the WHL Bantam Draft in 2005. Teubert, also joined teammate Jordan Eberle, this past summer representing Canada at the U-18 Tournament in the Czech Republic. Teubert, will also be playing in both games for team WHL this week.
Pats captain, Logan Pyett (5'11",198 Ibs) will be representing Canada and WHL for the second time this season, as he took part in the Canada/Russia Super Series at the end of August. The native of Balgonie, SK has notched 13 goals (4 Game Winners), and 15 assists so far this season, to lead the WHL in defencemen scoring. Logan will be playing in tonight's game in Medicine Hat.
