The Vancouver Giants are pleased to announce forward GARRY NUNN will be joining the defending Memorial Cup Champions. Nunn comes to the Giants after playing the last two seasons with the Victoria Grizzlies of the BCHL.
Nunn is a 5'9", 175 lbs. right winger from Victoria, BC. Originally haven participated in Vancouver Giants rookie camp in 2005, Nunn has been on the Giants Player Protected List for the past two seasons.
Over the last two years, Nunn has appeared in 140 games in the BCHL, collecting 56 goals, 76 assists, and 64 penalty minutes. He comes to the Giants after leading his team in points this season (28GP, 16G, 24A, 40PTS)
"Garry is a smart, skilled forward who is one of the fastest players in his age group in western Canada," says Giants General Manager Scott Bonner. "He's had two very productive years in the BCHL and we look forward to seeing him play a leading offensive role with our hockey club as this season moves forward."
Nunn will make his Western Hockey League debut when the Giants play at home Saturday December 1 against the Everett Silvertips. Game time is 7:00pm PST.
