DUBUQUE, Iowa - Matias Maccelli, Michael Feenstra, Dylan Jackson and Ty Jackson were selected for the USHL/NHL Top Prospects game this morning. The four will represent the Fighting Saints in the showcase game on January, 8th at the Ice Box in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The two-day event featuring the USHL's top NHL Draft-eligible talent will begin on Monday, Jan. 7 with off-ice measurements and on-ice drills conducted by NHL Central Scouting. The game will then take place on Tuesday night.
"The game and everything surrounding it is such a great event," said Saints general manager Kalle Larsson. "We are proud of all four Fighting Saints that get to showcase their skills on this stage in front of all scouts in attendance."
Maccelli is having a stellar year for the Fighting Saints. In his second season with the team, Maccelli is tied for 11th in the USHL with 23 points. He leads Dubuque in that category and is also tops in goals. Maccelli is currently riding a season high nine game point streak.
