
Four Bees Named to All-Star Game

(Burlington-IA)- The Midwest League announced the rosters for the 50th annual Summer All-Star Classic on June 17, 2014 at Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstack, MI., and the Burlington Bees had four players picked for the mid summer classic.
Pitchers Harrison Cooney and Garrett Nuss along with first baseman Eric Aguilera and second baseman Kody Eaves will represent the Burlington Bees at the Midwest League Summer All-Star Classic.
Bees' first baseman, Eric Aguilera, is the team's leading hitter, batting .304 with four home runs and 29 RBI. Second baseman Kody Eaves has been the teams' lead off hitter since the start of the season. Eaves is hitting .274 with four home runs and 22 RBI. Aguilera and Eaves were both named starters for the game.
Garrett Nuss currently holds a record of 3-0 with a 3.66 ERA in nine games, all starts this season. Harrison Cooney is coming off a complete game shutout at Peoria on May 30th and has put together a 4-3 record with a 2.05 ERA in 11 games, eight of which have been starts for the Bees.
