
Forwards Koger and Lacroix Reassigned to Stingrays

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals, announced today that forwards Daniel Koger and Maxime Lacroix have been reassigned to the team from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Koger, 22, skated in three games with the Bears earning one assist. In 10 contests with the Stingrays, the Szekesfehervar, Hungary, native recorded four goals and three assists for seven points. Acquired by the Stingrays from the Cincinnati Cyclones on February 15, Koger dressed in 22 contests with the Cyclones netting 20 points (5g, 15a). Koger also appeared in 13 AHL games this season with the Milwaukee Admirals, Providence Bruins and St. John's IceCaps registering one assist.
Lacroix, 24, played in 29 games with the Bears this season grabbing one goal and two assists for three points and was named the #1 star of the game on Wednesday, March 21 against the Albany Devils after scoring the game-winning goal. The Quebec, Quebec, native competed in 28 games with the Stingrays this season adding 10 goals and 18 assists for 28 points.
The Stingrays continue a five-game road trip on Tuesday, March 27 against the Greenville Road Warriors at 7:35 p.m. at the Bi-Lo Center and return to the North Charleston Coliseum for Fan Appreciation Night and The Post and Courier Hall of Fame Night on Saturday, March 31 against the Greenville Road Warriors at 7:05 p.m. Cast your vote for this season's Stingrays Hall of Fame inductee at StingraysHockey.com !
