Party with the Walleye One Last Time

(TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye have announced plans to host a season-ending party this Saturday, March 31 at the Huntington Center's Aquarium, located adjacent to the main lobby of the arena.

The FREE event will begin at 5 p.m. and will feature drink specials, "spring cleaning" giveaway items to the first 150 fans and the Toledo Blade "Battle of the Bands" champion Booyah!, performing live on stage from 5-7 p.m.

The Walleye encourage the community to come see the team one last time in 2012 and be a part of history. The team currently leads the ECHL in attendance with a total of 210,587 fans (6,194 per game). Toledo has never led the ECHL in attendance for a single-season. The face-off for the final game of the year is scheduled for 7 p.m. between the Toledo Walleye and the Kalamazoo Wings.

Additionally, the team will be wearing their warm-up "Hooks" jerseys during Saturday's game and fans will have two opportunities to purchase one. Five of the jerseys will be raffled off throughout the evening. Raffle tickets will be $5 and can be purchased at the pre-game party or during the game on the main concourse near section 122. Following the game, the rest of the jerseys will be auctioned off on the ice. Proceeds from the jersey raffle and auction will benefit the Walleye Wishing Well, the official charitable fund of the Toledo Walleye which provides financial support to local charities in our region.

Following the game, fans are invited back to the Aquarium to enjoy more terrific music from Booyah! Walleye players will also be in attendance after the game so be sure to say good-bye and get one last autograph or photo.
