TULSA, Okla., Dec. 17, 2010 - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants (6-4) topped the Tulsa 66ers (6-5) by a 92-80 final Friday evening inside the Tulsa Convention Center. The two teams split the back-to-back set, as Tulsa took game one on Thursday night by a 100-93 overtime final.
Tulsa led 43-38 at halftime Friday evening but scored just five points in the third quarter, allowing the Mad Ants to enter the fourth with a 69-48 lead. The 66ers rallied and cut the deficit to 10 points in the final quarter but came up short.
"The lesson we have to learn is we need to be ready to bounce back," 66ers head coach Nate Tibbetts said. "We can't hang our heads because we've got a great team coming in here next in Iowa. I have confidence that our guys will come out strong and focused on Sunday."
Guard Jerome Dyson led the 66ers in scoring with 16 points and Latavious Williams racked up a team-high nine rebounds. Also scoring in double figures for Tulsa was Ryan Reid with 15 points, Tweety Carter with 14 points and Zabian Dowdell with 10 points.

Tulsa returns to the court this Sunday, Dec. 19, when it hosts the Iowa Energy at 4 p.m. inside the Tulsa Convention Center. The 66ers will celebrate the holiday season on Sunday with special performances by the 66ers junior dance team, Oklahoma Dance Academy and the 66ers dance team.
Additionally, the 66ers and the YMCA of Greater Tulsa are teaming up to host a "Warm Feet Drive." Fans are encouraged to bring socks to support the Project Elf initiative that provides socks to children during the winter months.
For each pair of socks donated a fan will receive a raffle ticket for prizes that include Oklahoma City Thunder tickets, a team autographed 66ers basketball and a three month family membership to a local YMCA. All fans that attend Sunday's contest will receive a free one week membership to any Tulsa YMCA.
