Fort Wayne TinCaps News Release
DAYTON, Ohio -- TinCaps pitchers Jairo Iriarte, Alan Mundo, and Adam Smith combined to throw a no-hitter as Fort Wayne beat the Dayton Dragons (Cincinnati Reds affiliate), 6-0, on Tuesday night at Day Air Ballpark.
This was just the third no-hitter thrown in Fort Wayne's 30-year franchise history, and the first time it's happened in a road game.
