Forsberg Recalled by Nashville, Ads Summon Two

Milwaukee, WI--Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Filip Forsberg from Milwaukee (AHL) on an emergency basis. In addition, the Admirals have recalled forwards Josh Shalla and Paul Crowder from the Cincinnati Cylones of the ECHL.

Forsberg has posted five points (1g-4a) in 12 games with Nashville, and 27 points (10g-17a) in 37 games with the Admirals in 2013-14. The Ostervala, Sweden native also participated in the 2014 World Junior Championships, earning Most Valuable Player and Best Forward honors while helping Sweden to a silver medal (4g-8a-12pts, 7gp), his third consecutive medal at the tournament (2013: silver, 2012: gold).

Shalla has four points (2g-2a) in 24 games for the Admirals this season and 24 points (10g-14a) in 22 games with Cincinnati. Crowder is the Cylones third leading scorer with 42 points (14g-28a). Last season he played five games for Milwaukee, recording two points.

Shalla and Crowder will join the Admirals in Utica, NY as they finish off a three-in-three set this afternoon against the Utica Comets.
