The Philadelphia Flyers have recalled left-wing Tye McGinn from the Adirondack Phantoms, according to Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren. McGinn will be available for Philadelphia's next game on Monday night against the Los Angelese Kings.
Tye McGinn, 23, is joining the Flyers again for the fifth time this season but it is his first recall in a couple of months. His most recent game with Philadelphia was January 12 against the New York Rangers. McGinn has three goals and zero assists in eight games for the Flyers this season. For his NHL career, he has played in 28 games scoring six goals and two assists.
McGinn has scored 20 goals and 15 assists for 35 points with the Phantoms this season. He is tied with Jason Akeson for the team-lead in goals. McGinn departs the Phantoms on a two-game goal-streak having scored power-play goals on Friday at Utica and on Saturday against Hartford.
For his AHL career, McGinn has played in 166 games with the Phantoms scoring 46 goals and 33 assists for 79 points. He is fourth all-time for the Adirondack Phantoms in career goals and points.

25 Terrific Seasons
Glens Falls is celebrating its 25th season hosting an AHL team and in so doing now joins an elite group of just 9 other active markets who can make such a claim. It's a great hockey tradition with an old-school feel that began with the Adirondack Red Wings in 1979. In their 20-year tenure at the Glens Falls Civic Center through 1999, the Red Wings won four Calder Cups. The Adirondack Phantoms began play in Glens Falls in 2009-10 and are in their fifth season bringing exciting AHL action to the North Country.
