Florence Y'alls
Florence, Kentucky: A cool, breezy night welcomed 1,281 fans to Champion Window Field in Florence, Kentucky. Florence was looking to defeat a hot Windy City team, but failed to do so, losing 9-2.
Not much offense for the Freedom, they got their offense with the help of Windy City third baseman, who committed three errors at the hot corner position. The RBIs came from RBI singles by Josh Sanchez and Zack Schmidt. Jason Brunke served up some bad pitches for the Freedom, he went two innings, giving up five runs, four earned, and six hits. Mark Harris came in relief, going six innings, giving up four earned runs. Brunke's record now stands at 1-4, and it now sets up the question of how much longer will he be on this Florence Freedom ballclub.
The Freedom look to avenge the loss, playing two more against the Thunderbolts, the next one being Thirsty Thursday at Champion Window Field.
