Windy City ThunderBolts News Release

Wednesday, August 10, the Windy City ThunderBolts, in partnership with the Crestwood Best Buy and LifeSource, Chicagoland's Blood Center, are holding the Blood, Sweat & Cheers Blood Drive at Hawkinson Ford Field from 3:00 to 7:30pm. Throughout the afternoon, Donors will have a chance to mingle with the players and watch batting practice as they are waiting to give blood.

LifeSource will have an air-conditioned coach bus in front of Hawkinson Ford Field; so don't let the weather keep you from giving the gift of life to people in your own community.

All registered donors will receive a ticket to a special party area for that night's 7:05 baseball game against the River City Rascals, a special goodie bag and on-the-field recognition for registering to donate.

Help us reach our goal of 50 donors. For more information or to make an appointment, please call Nicky Meyer at the ThunderBolts front office at 708-489-2255 or visit the Crestwood Best Buy at 4981 Cal Sag Road.

If your company would like to become a sponsor or would be interested in displaying Blood, Sweat & Cheers Blood Drive Posters please contact Dan Wachowski at 630-452-2545 or by e-mail info@wcthunderbolts.com.
