The Flash were able to maintain a five point lead at the end of the first half led by Ingram's 14 points.

Pittsnogle jumpstarted a 17-4 Albuquerque run with 15 points including three, three-pointers. Utah's struggled in the third quarter going on a five minute scoring drought while Albuquerque took an eight point lead. Utah bounced back and could have closed the quarter as a tie, but could not capitalize on free throw opportunities and trailed 67-70 going into the fourth quarter.

The fourth quarter was a back and forth battle with neither team putting the game away, despite various chances. The Flash trailed by as many as eight points in the fourth quarter, but battled back to send the game into overtime. Trailing by two with 16 seconds left Brian Hamilton stole a Thunderbird inbounds pass and pushed the ball to Carlos Wheeler for a slam dunk that tied the game at 85 and sent the game into overtime.

Both teams played strong in the overtime while the game was never lead by more than a four point advantage. With 16 seconds left Dontell Jefferson drove to hoop to tie the game, drew heavy contact, but no foul was called. The ball was rebounded by Yari Korolev who was immediately fouled. Korolev had the chance to put the Thunderbirds up by three, but missed his second free throw and gave the Flash a chance for a tie or a win with four seconds left. The ball was in-bounded to Dontell Jefferson who drove, pulled up from 18 feet and after bouncing around the rim several times, his shot fell out as time expired.

Utah continues on the road for the next four games, and travels to Reno to take on the Bighorns Tuesday.
