Coffino To Host Coach's Show On Monday At Spectators Sports Bar And

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, Jan. 10, 2010 - Albuquerque Thunderbirds head coach John Coffino and broadcaster Robert Portnoy will host the fourth Coach's Show of the 2009-2010 season on Monday, Jan. 11, from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Spectators Sports Bar and Grill. The show will air live on 610 The Sports Animal.
The Thunderbirds are currently riding a five game winning streak, which includes home wins this weekend against Reno and Utah. The current streak is the longest in the league, and the T-Birds record now stands at 8-9.
T-Birds starting center Kurt Looby will appear on the show along with Coffino and Portnoy. Since joining the team on Dec. 30, Looby has averaged 6.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game while helping the team to a 5-1 record.
Coffino has seven more shows scheduled throughout the course of the season, and fans are encouraged to come out and show their support. The dates are:

The Thunderbirds will hit the road to take on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Jan. 13. The game will begin at 6:30 pm MST, and fans can either listen in on 610 The Sports Animal or watch the action live on NBA Futurecast.
