OREM, UT - December 3, 2010 - The Austin Toros (3-3) couldn't stop the Utah Flash's (3-3) momentum during tonight's home season opener. The Toros rally against the Flash came up short 131-110. The Flash were welcomed home by 5,150 fans in the UCCU Events Center.

The matchup pitted current head coach Kevin Young against former Flash coach Brad Jones. Jones, who took the job in Austin has lost three straight, while Young and the Flash have won their last three.

The Toros Michael Joiner and Kevin Palmer combined for 44 points, but couldn't establish any momentum as the Flash led by double digits the entire second half.

At the end of the first quarter the Flash led 33-25 against the Toros. Newly acquired Charles Garcia, led the first quarter lead with eight points. An almost perfect, 11-12 free throws in the first quarter helped solidify the Flash's lead.
