Flames Sign Tim Lovell

Saint John, NB – The Saint John Flames announced today that they have signed 28-year-old center Tim Lovell to a 25-game Professional Tryout Agreement. The 5'9", 190 lb native of Norwood, Massachusetts split last season between the Tacoma Sabercats of the West Coast Hockey League recording 10 points (2 goals, 8 assists) in 14 games and Bad Nauhaim in the German 2nd Division ranking second in team scoring with 43 points (13 goals, 30 assists) in 38 games. In 52 career AHL games, Lovell has recorded 29 points (13 goals, 16 assists) and 51 penalty minutes.

Saint John visits the Providence Bruins tonight at 8:05 p.m., the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Tomorrow at 8:05 p.m. and the Lowell Lock Monsters Sunday at 5:00 p.m. All times listed are Saint John time.

The 2002-03 season marks the Saint John Flames' tenth as a member of the American Hockey League and as the primary development organization of the National Hockey League's Calgary Flames.
