
Flames Send Wranglers Burke And Donally For Kelly Cup Playoffs

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers ® announced today that defenseman Gerry Burke and left wing Ryan Donally have been returned by the Quad City Flames of the American Hockey League.
Donally returns from his second appearance in the AHL with Quad City this season. In all, Donally played in ten games in the AHL, registering no points and 21 penalty minutes. With the Wranglers this season, Donally set new career highs with 15 goals and 22 assists for 37 points in 53 games played. The Tecumseh, ON native led the team in penalty minutes with 176. Donally was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in the third round (#97 overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. The second-year pro has played in 114 professional games, including 86 with the Wranglers.
Burke returns from the AHL after playing in 46 games with the Flames. During his time in Quad City, Burke dished out six assists and totaled 36 penalty minutes. Burke participated in the preseason with Quad City and was assigned to Las Vegas in early October. In 16 games with Las Vegas, the Milton, MA native scored three goals and added four assists for seven points. Over that span, Burke was also a team-high +8. In 207 career games, the 25 year-old has 19 goals and 53 assists for 72 points, as well as adding 237 penalty minutes.
The Wranglers will play the Stockton Thunder in a best-of-seven series starting with Game One on Friday, April 11th at the Orleans Arena at 7:05 pm. Game Two of the series will be on Saturday, April 12th at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena. The series shifts to Stockton, CA for Games Three, Four, and Five. Game Three is on Sunday, April 13th at 6:00 pm at the Stockton Arena. After a four-day layoff, the series will resume in Stockton with Game Four on Friday, April 18th at 7:30 pm. If necessary, Game Five will be played on Sunday, April 20th at 4:00 pm. The series will return to the Orleans Arena for Game Six and Seven. If necessary, Game Six would start at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena on Tuesday, April 22nd. If necessary, Game Seven will be on Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena.
