The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that defenseman Paul Flache has been assigned to the Gladiators from their American Hockey League affiliate, Chicago.

Flache appeared in 62 games last season with the Gladiators, posting 3 goals and 15 assists for 18 points. The Toronto, Ontario native scored the double overtime, game winning goal for the Gladiators against the Louisiana IceGators to clinch the Central Division Championship last year in the division finals.

The 6-foot-6, 227-pound defenseman has played in 44 games this year for the Chicago Wolves where he has scored 3 goals and recorded 11 assists for 14 points.

Flache, the twin brother of Peter Flach, should be available for the Gladiators for tonight's 7:35 p.m. tilt against the Augusta Lynx at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.

The Central Division Champion Gwinnett Gladiators continue their second season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Friday, February 25th against the Augusta Lynx at 7:35 p.m. The Gladiators offer several ticket packages for different needs as well as group outings, suites and birthday parties. The Gladiators play all 36 home games at the Arena at Gwinnett Center located on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth and are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers.
