San Diego Gulls News Release
What: The San Diego Gulls have partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for the March 5 home game against the Fresno Falcons. It will be "Disco Night" and the first 6,000 fans in attendance will receive a special Disco wig. There will be several events and promotions that will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society during the game. Some of these events include the following:
Chuck-A-Puck: Fans can purchase a rubberized puck to throw onto the ice during the second intermission. These pucks are $1 each and the majority of the proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Raffle: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will be holding a raffle throughout the game on the North Concourse of the Sports Arena. Prizes include U2 concert tickets and autographed Gulls memorabilia. Raffle tickets are $5 each or $20 for five raffle tickets.
Haircuts: Collections Salon and Day Spa will be offering buzz cuts and regular haircuts for $5, benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
When: Saturday, March 5. Game-time is 7:05 p.m. All fans are encouraged to arrive early. Gates open at 6 p.m.
How: Tickets are $12 for Terrace level seats and $22 in the Lower Level seating area. Fans can purchase tickets by going to this web site: http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1196808. A portion of the tickets sold will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Other Points: By registering on the above web site, you have committed to buying a ticket. You may also purchase raffle tickets on the web site. All pre-purchased tickets will be at Sports Arena's Will Call the night of the game. The Last day to purchase tickets online is midnight on March 2.
