(PORTLAND) - New Hampshire (33-39) snapped a two-game losing streak with a 4-2 win Friday night over Portland (43-27) before 5,663 at Hadlock Field in Maine. The Fisher Cats trailed 1-0 entering the 7th inning, when they scored all of their runs off Sea Dog reliever Randy Beam (2-2). 1B Chip Cannon singled, SS Manny Mayorson (2-for-4) singled Cannon to second. 3B Eric Arnold sacrificed and 2B Brad Hassey struck out. CF Dustin Majewski (2-for-4, RBI) then singled Cannon home to tie the game at 1-1. LF Adam Lind (2-for-4, 3 RBI) launched a 3-run homer to right field, his 13th to make it 4-1 Fisher Cats. Portland had taken a 1-0 lead in the third against winning pitcher Kurt Isenberg (3-8). RF Brandon Moss doubled home LF Brian Pritz to give the Sea Dogs the early advantage. Isenberg worked 6 IP, allowing 5 hits, 2 BB and 3 KO. Portland starter Devern Hansack worked six shutout innings, allowing 4 hits, walking one and striking out 6. New Hampshire reliever Justin James allowed a run in the 8th, as Portland closed to 4-2. 1B Jeremy West doubled and scored on a single by 3B Chad Spann. Rodney Ormond earned his 3rd save of the season for the Fisher Cats, working the final 1.1 IP without allowing a base runner. The series continues Saturday at 6pm in Portland with RHP Kyle Yates (3-6, 3.90) starting for the Fisher Cats against Sea Dog RHP Luis Mendoza (0-1, 4.76).
