Fisher Cats Playoff Tickets On Sale August 8th
Eastern League Playoffs scheduled to begin September 7
Manchester, N.H.- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, today announce that tickets for the 2011 Eastern League Playoffs at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium will go on sale Monday, August 8, at 9 a.m. at the Fisher Cats Ticket Office and online at www.nhfishercats.com.
"This Fisher Cats team has been exciting and entertaining all year long and we are happy to be in the hunt for the Eastern League Championship," said Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner. "Our fans have proven yet again that they are the best in baseball with their passionate support of the Fisher Cats."
The Eastern League Playoffs are played in five-game series, with the top two teams in each division (Eastern / Western) playing one another in the first round. The Fisher Cats currently hold the first place position in the Eastern Division, three games ahead of the Trenton Thunder and Reading Phillies, both currently tied for second place. In the first round of the playoffs, the first place teams will host games one, two, and five (if necessary), and the second place teams will host games three and four (if necessary).
The winners of the respective divisions will then play each other in a five-game series to determine the Eastern League Championship. Per the Eastern League's Official Playoff Procedure, the Eastern Division team will host games one and two of the Championship Series and the Western Division team shall host games three, four (if necessary), and five (if necessary).
Fans may purchase individual tickets for five possible playoff games at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium starting at just $6 or fans can also purchase Playoff Ticket Strips, which include a ticket to every Fisher Cats home playoff game, starting at just $30 for box seats.
Playoff Game A (home playoff game #1)- is for the first home playoff game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium
Playoff Game B (home playoff game #2)- is for the second home playoff game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium
Playoff Game C (home playoff game #3)- is for the third home playoff game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium
Playoff Game D (home playoff game #4)- is for the fourth home playoff game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium
Playoff Game E (home playoff game #5)- is for the fifth home playoff game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium
The number of the playoff games is not tied to any specific series or game date, but rather to which home game number is being played at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
In the scenario where the Fisher Cats do not qualify for the Eastern League Playoffs or do not play all five possible games at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, fans can choose to be reimbursed for the games not played or can turn in the purchased playoff tickets for tickets to a 2012 Fisher Cats home game.
Fisher Cats Season Ticket Holders and Luxury Suite Holders receive complimentary playoff tickets in their ticket packages as a benefit of being a Season Ticket Holder and Luxury Suite Holder.
