Manchester, NH - Andrew Sopko worked seven scoreless innings to earn his second consecutive win as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays Double-A affiliate) blanked the Hartford Yard Goats (Colorado Rockies) 1-0 on Thursday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.

Sopko (W, 2-2) allowed three singles, did not walk a batter, and struck out three. Ty Tice finished up with two hitless innings for his first save.

The only run of the game came in the bottom of the sixth inning. New Hampshire's Nash Knight doubled, advanced to third on an error, and scored on a single by Santiago Espinal.

Jack Wynkoop (L, 2-4) was the hard-luck loser, allowing four hits in his six innings. He struck out a season-high six batters.

Notes: Hartford ran a scoreless streak to 36 innings before the Fisher Cats scored their run. The Yard Goats had won consecutive games by shutout over Portland coming into this series.
