Fisher Cats/Aeros Doubleheader Slated for Wednesday, June 17

New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release


Manchester, NH- Following Thursday night's postponement in Akron, the Eastern League announced today that the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Akron Aeros will make up the game as part of a twi-night doubleheader at Merchantsauto.com Stadium on Wednesday, June 17. Game one will begin at 6:05pm with the second contest beginning 30 minutes after the conclusion of the opener. Each game is scheduled for seven innings, and the Fisher Cats will be the home team for both games.

The first 2,000 fans in attendance for the doubleheader on Wednesday, June 17, will get a free Fisher Cats Hat, courtesy of Mt. Washington Assurance. Gates open at 5:00pm. For tickets, visit www.nhfishercats.com or call (603) 641-2005.

The Fisher Cats open a three-game series against the Erie SeaWolves, the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, tonight with a 7:05pm game at Uht Park. New Hampshire left-hander Marc Rzepczynski (6-5, 3.45) is slated to start the opener against Erie right-hander Pat Stanley (0-1, 4.96). Radio coverage begins at 6:45pm with the BayRing Pre-Game Show on the WGIR Fisher Cats Radio Network with Mike Murphy.
