First half champs start second half at home Monday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns, first-half champs of the Southern League's South Division and owners of one of the best records in all of baseball, return to the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville on Monday, June 19 for a five-game series against the Montgomery Biscuits.

The week starts out with a Businessperson's Special and Camp Day. For this special 12:05pm start, fans can get a box seat, hot dog and large beverage for just $13.50 and many summer and day campers are expected for a day of baseball in the sunshine.

The Suns celebrate the return of the Man of Steel on Tuesday for Superman Night and Fifty Cent Family Feast. Any fan dressed like Superman or another superhero will receive free admission and can compete in a costume contest for great movie prizes. Sponsored by Regal Cinemas. Plus, it's another Fifty Cent Family Feast where hot dogs, peanuts and ice cream treats are just fifty cents all night, courtesy of Hampton Farms, Blue Bell Ice Cream, Folio Weekly and KISS FM.

Another day game awaits fans on Wednesday at 1:05, as does the second Businessperson's Special of the week, compliments of AM690 WOKV.

On Thursday, the Suns celebrate Halloween in June with Thursday Night Throwdown. Fans in costume can participate in a costume contest for great prizes and take part in a watermelon carving contest and other great Halloween activities. Plus, it's Buds for a Buck, compliments of Budweiser and Planet Radio 107.3FM. A special $5.00 ticket coupon is available at area Gate locations, while supplies last. Plus, it's Shriner's Night!
