ABOUT LAST GAME: Tony Dibrell recorded a career-high 11 strikeouts in Columbia's 3-2 loss to Charleston on Thursday night. He becomes the second Firefly with 11 or more strikeouts in a game this season - the other being Chris Viall.
SWING AND MISS STUFF: Columbia hurlers lead the South Atlantic League in strikeouts and also rank in the top four across Minor League Baseball.

WE'RE STILL GOING STREAKING: Jeremy Vasquez reached base again on Thursday. Vasquez has reached base safely in all 20 games he's played in this season - the best streak for all of Low-A and the fourth-longest streak in all of pro baseball (MLB & MiLB).

He is one of the most patient hitters in the SAL, too - he's first in the league in walks (19) and second in on-base percentage (.477). The 20-game on-base streak is a new franchise record, passing Jay Jabs, Luis Carpio and Andres Gimenez's 17 straight set during the 2017 season.
STROMINATION: Ian Strom is off to an impressive start with the St. Lucie Mets. The former Firefly leads St. Lucie with a .321 batting average through 17 games. Strom has also only committed two errors to this point.
