Fifteenth Anniversary Version of Radio Recon Kicks off on Tuesday
October 12, 2015 - ECHL (ECHL)
Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, take this opportunity to remind fans that Royals Radio Recon, the team's weekly coach's show, will kick off the Fifteenth Anniversary season on Tuesday night (October 13 from 6 to 7 pm) at Jimmy G's Railroad House Sports Bar and Restaurant (152 Woodrow Ave., Sinking Spring, PA; 610-678-1177).
Tomorrow night's show will feature Head Coach Larry Courville as he prepares to launch his seventh full season at the helm of the Royals' hockey operations department and forward Kevin Goumas as he explains why the smart MLB money is all gravitating towards the Mets, even if an entire country north of the border (and a bunch of his buddies on the Royals) have piled onto the red, white and blue (as in Jays) bandwagon.
Of course, for those who can't make it out to The Railroad House, Radio Recon will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Radio 1240 am and 98.5 fm in Reading. For those outside the radio listening range, we'll post audio from the show on the Royals' website (www.royalshockey.com) by Wednesday.
The Fifteenth Anniversary Season of Royals' hockey kicks off with back-to-back games against the South Carolina Stingrays at North Charleston Coliseum on Saturday (October 17) and Sunday (October 18). Reading opens the home portion of the team's schedule on Saturday, October 24, (7:00 pm) when the Elmira Jackals visit Santander Arena. The home opener will be preceded by a Block Party complete with a FREE concert by the Gin Blossoms. Season Tickets for the 2015-16 Reading Royals ECHL season are currently available. Call 610-898-7825 for more information or log onto www.royalshockey.com.
