
FC Dallas Completes Transfer of Pablo Aranguiz to Universidad de Chile

FRISCO, TX - FC Dallas has reached a transfer agreement with Club Universidad de Chile for midfielder Pablo Aránguiz. Per team policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
FC Dallas loaned Aránguiz to La U last December, after appearing in 20 MLS matches for Dallas since his signing on July 24, 2018. While with the Chilean Primera División team, Aránguiz scored four goals and recorded three assists in 12 appearances. FC Dallas initially loaned Aránguiz to Unión Española in July 2019 where he recorded one assist in seven appearances.
The attacking midfielder earned his first Chilean U-23 call-up in 2019 to participate in the Maurice Revello tournament in Toulon, France. It was his first national team call up since 2016 where he last appeared in three international friendlies for the Chilean U-20 team. He also joined the U-23s in final preparation for the 2020 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament in Colombia that was held in January 2020.
