RiverHawks starting pitcher Brett Durand (4-2) gave up eight runs (six earned) in 3.2 innings of work, striking out three and walking two.

Fargo-Moorhead designated hitter Cory Patton came on to pitch a scoreless ninth inning. The southpaw did not allow a hit and struck out one while touching 90 mph on the radar gun.
