Fargo Force Select Gabe Guertler Second Overall in 2011 USHL Futures Draft

FARGO, ND -The Fargo Force announce today their selection of Gabe Guertler second overall in the 2011 USHL Futures Draft. Guertler, a forward from Plantation, FL, played for Team Illinois in the Tier 1 AAA Hockey League during the 2010-11 season scoring 25 goals and adding 34 assists for a total of 59 points in 35 games played. Out of 35 games played, 20 of them were multipoint games for Guertler.
Each year drafts are held in which every USHL team participates in several rounds to select players for the 2011-12 season. For the futures draft, only players who were born in 1995 are eligible to be drafted. Being drafted doesn't automatically place players on a USHL roster. They may also be placed on the team's affiliate list. The Fargo Force selected the following players (in order of when selected):
