Round Rock Express News Release
On June 16, future Hall of Fame right-hander Roger Clemens, a limited partner of the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks and Triple-A Round Rock Express, is scheduled to make his third and final tune-up start before joining the Houston Astros.
Tickets for the Friday game have been sold out for more than a week, and a record crowd is expected at The Dell Diamond. With such excitement surrounding the Rocket's start in Round Rock, the Express would like to help our fans have the most enjoyable experience possible by providing an advisory for the game.
-With a record crowd expected, the Express will open the gates to The Dell Diamond an hour early at 4:30 p.m. We urge fans to carpool and to arrive early to avoid traffic and secure parking.
-The Round Rock Police Department will be controlling traffic from Interstate-35 down Highway 79 towards the stadium.
-All tickets for the June 16th game have been sold, which means no tickets will be sold at the box offices before the game. If you do not have a ticket at game time, there will be no tickets available at the gates. Also, please be cautious when purchasing tickets from an unauthorized dealer on-line.
-Please check to make sure each of your tickets has the June 16th date printed on it. Any ticket without the June 16th date printed on it will not be accepted.
-Please be aware that all unused tickets, past-dated tickets, including Spike's Kids Club tickets, and rain checks will not be honored for this game. Unused tickets, past-dated tickets and rain checks are all subject to availability and there are no tickets available for the June 16th game.
-Photo I.D. will be required to pick up any tickets at the Will Call window.
-As a reminder, reselling of game tickets on The Dell Diamond property is not permitted.
-There will be a fireworks show after the game, so please stick around and enjoy the entire historical night.
