Falcons Sign Adam Henrich To PTO Contract

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today they have signed forward Adam Henrich to a Professional Tryout Agreement (PTO). Henrich originally started the 2009-10 season in Springfield playing four games with the Falcons and collecting one goal and one assist and 13 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound native of Thornhill, Ontario has also appeared in eight games with the ECHL's Ontario Reign this year where he registered five goals and four assists for nine points. He most recently was playing with the ECHL's Cincinnati Cyclones.

Henrich started his pro career with the Falcons during the 2004-05 campaign totaling 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points and 97 penalty minutes in 63 games. He has played in a total of 186 career AHL games collecting 31 goals and 51 assists for 82 points. Henrich has seen time with the Falcons, Norfolk Admirals and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins during his AHL career. He was originally drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the second round (60th overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

The Falcons are back in action this weekend when they host the Worcester Sharks on Friday night at the MassMutual Center, before heading to Bridgeport, CT on Saturday, followed by a Sunday matinee on home ice against the Adirondack Phantoms starting at 3:00 pm.
