
Teddy Bear Toss Saturday, Holiday Hat Trick Pack Offered

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs are getting into the Christmas spirit with the annual Teddy Bear Toss on Saturday against the Lake Erie Monsters.
Fans are encouraged to bring new stuffed animals to the game at the Rockford MetroCentre. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
When the IceHogs score their first goal of the game, fans can throw the stuffed animals on to the ice. Players and IceHogs staff will then distribute the items to Rockford area children's charities and the local hospitals throughout the rest of the year.
Additionally, the first 2,500 fans at the game will pick up a white Jersey Bag courtesy of Rockford Orthopedic, 23 WIFR and BOB FM. And Super Fan Cameron Hughes will be in the stands throughout the night, presented by Nicholson Hardware, Rock Valley College, 23 WIFR and BOB FM.

IceHogs fans can pick up tickets for the Saturday, Dec. 19 game against San Antonio, Saturday, Dec. 26 game against Milwaukee and Thursday, Dec. 31 game against Houston together at a discounted rate. Every purchase also comes with a free IceHogs t-shirt.
The Dec. 19 game features a celebrity appearance from Alex Meraz, who plays "Paul" in the blockbuster hit The Twilight Saga: New Moon. On Dec. 26, the first 2,500 fans into the building will get an IceHogs winter scarf thanks to Mega Truck Rental and Q98.5. All fans in attendance can also enter to win a chance to have their electric bills paid by the IceHogs for as long as the team is playing this season.
