Falcons Release Currier, Montgomery

Springfield, MA - The Springfield announced today that the team has released forward Tyler Currier and defenseman Kevin Montgomery from their Professional Tryout Contracts. The 27-year-old Currier scored one goal and added one assist on Sunday night versus the Bridgeport Sound Tigers during his stint with the Falcons. The Anchorage, AK native has registered 21-12-33 in 63 games with the Elmira Jackals (ECHL) this season.

The 27-year-old Montgomery dressed in two games with the Falcons this weekend collecting a plus-2 rating. The Rochester, NY native has recorded 4-13-17 in 34 games with the Florida Everblades (ECHL) during the 2015-16 campaign.

The Falcons return to the MassMutual Center on Friday, April 8 at 7 p.m. against the Hartford Wolf Pack.
