Lehigh Valley, PA - The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, are pleased to announce that defenseman Travis Sanheim along with forwards Nicolas Aube-Kubel and Radel Fazleev have been assigned to the Phantoms from their Canadian Hockey League (CHL) clubs. Sanheim will wear jersey number 6 with Lehigh Valley while Fazleev will wear number 19 and Aube-Kubel will wear jersey number 21 with the Phantoms.

A 20-year-old defender from Elkhorn, Manitoba, Sanheim finished fourth among all Western Hockey League defenseman in scoring this season with 68 total points (15 goals, 53 assists). A first-round selection (#17 overall) by the Flyers in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, the 6'4", 199-pound blueliner tallied 35 goals, 127 assists and 162 points across 186 games with Calgary over the last three seasons.

A 19-year-old winger from Sorel, Quebec, Aube-Kubel notched 38 goals, 46 assists and 84 points in 61 games with the Val d'Or Foreurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) this season. A second-round selection (#48 overall) by the Flyers in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, the 5'11", 196-pound forward amassed 108 goals, 136 assists and 244 points in 251 games with Val d'Or over the last four seasons.

A 20-year-old center from Kazan, Russia, Fazleev tallied 19 goals, 52 assists and 71 total points in 59 games with the Hitmen this year. A sixth-round selection (#168 overall) by Philadelphia in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, the 6'1", 192-pound forward produced 42 goals, 105 assists and 147 points across 168 games with Calgary over the last three seasons.

The Phantoms return to action this Friday, April 8 when Lehigh Valley kicks off the second-to-last weekend of the regular season with a visit to Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for a rivalry showdown with the Penguins. Lehigh Valley then returns home to PPL Center on Saturday, April 9, for a 7:05 p.m. clash with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, the AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders. Saturday's game is Faith Night, which features a post-game concert with Christian hip-hop artist Tedashii.
