Falcons kick off holiday toy collection

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons are pleased to announce the following upcoming community events:

FALCONS TOY COLLECTION brought to you by Kraft Foods – December 3, 4, 18, 30 & January 1 – Fans are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to the game and receive a discount coupon for the Wednesday, February 23rd game vs. Norfolk at 7:05 p.m. – Toys will be distributed to the Baystate Medical Center's Children's Hospital and Shriners Hospitals in February.

CAPTAIN'S KIDS – Captain #18 Shane Willis CAPTAIN'S KIDS ticket donation program continues this weekend including the West Springfield Boy's & Girl's Club attending this Saturday's game. Willis will be donating 10 tickets to every home game for the remainder of the season to a children's related organization from Western MA, Northern CT, and Southern VT. If you know of a childrens' related organization that might be interested in tickets, please contact Carole Appleton at (413) 739-3344.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4 vs. ALBANY RIVER RATS – 7:05 P.M. – Balise Drug Awareness Night – 1st 2000 kids receive a "Hockey's Cool, Drugs Aren't" poster featuring #10 Craig Darby and GSL Youth Hockey Players.

"A Touch of Class" Cocktail Event sponsored by The Delaney House – Wednesday, January 26, 2005 –

6-8 p.m. – The Springfield Falcons and The Delaney House have teamed up for a very special formal event. Falcon players will be on hand as your hosts. Tickets will start being sold starting with the December 3rd game. Proceeds to benefit Springfield Falcons Charities, Inc.
