
Falcons Cut 8 Players From Training Camp Roster

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they have released eight players from their tryout agreements. The Falcons now have 30 skaters and four goaltenders remaining on their training camp roster.
Players Released From Tryout Agreements: Chris Davis (F), Colin Power (F), Chris D'Alvise (F), Daryl Marcoux (D), Chanse Fitzpatrick (F), Jeff Hazelwood (F), Jay Holladay (D), Tim Kunes (D).
FALCONS TRAINING CAMP ICE SCHEDULE:
Friday, September 25 Ice Time - 10 am @ MassMutual Center
Pre-season Game @ MassMutual Center Vs. Worcester - 7:30 pm
Saturday, September 26 Ice Time - 10 am @ MassMutual Center
Pre-season Game @ MassMutual Center Vs. Providence - 7:00 pm
Springfield will host a pair of pre-season games at the MassMutual Center starting on Friday, September 25 when they host the Worcester Sharks at 7:30 pm. The Falcons will face the Bruins again on Saturday, September 26 at The Nest starting at 7 pm to conclude their exhibition schedule.
The Falcons open their 2009-10 regular season schedule on Saturday, October 3 when they host the Portland Pirates starting at 7:00 pm at the MassMutual Center. The Falcons will be entering their 16th American Hockey League season and third year with their National Hockey League affiliate, the Edmonton Oilers.
