
Moose reduce roster by 20

Manitoba Moose News Release
The Manitoba Moose today announced they have reduced their roster by 20 players. As a result, the Moose now have 23 players on their roster.
The following players were released:

Stefan Drew Goaltender Andrew Martens Defence
Matt Eagles Centre Ryan Menei Right Wing
Olivier Filion Centre Jon Rheault Right Wing
Ryan Garbutt Centre Matt Stefanishion Right Wing
Greg Hogeboom Centre Bear Trapp Right Wing
Scott Hotham Defence
Goaltender John Murray has been assigned to the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL.
The remaining 23 players will now travel to Abbotsford, BC as the Moose will face the Heat in a pair of exhibition games beginning Friday, September 25th at 9:30 CT and Sunday, September 27th at 7:00 CT.
The Moose will then open their 14th regular season on Friday, Oct. 2nd against the Houston Aeros at the MTS Centre. Gametime is 7:30 p.m. Fans can buy tickets to that game and all other individual Moose games at all Ticketmaster locations or by calling 780-3333 or by going online at www.ticketmaster.ca or www.moosehockey.com. Fans can also still purchase season tickets and mini-packs by calling the Moose offices directly at 987-7825 (PUCK).
