
Worcester Sharks Release Six Players From Training Camp

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks General Manager Wayne Thomas announced that six players have been released from the training camp roster as the Sharks prepare for the teams' fourth season of hockey in Worcester.
The group consists of forwards Kerry Bowman and Jon Pelle along with defensemen Chris Clark, Arthur Fritch, Jon Landry, and Jeff Mason.
The Sharks training camp roster is now comprised of 31 players; four goaltenders, eight defensemen, and 19 forwards.
The Sharks will travel to Springfield for a preseason tilt against the Falcons at the Mass Mutual Center on Fri., Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m.
The team will round out the preseason schedule at International Skating Center in Simsbury, CT with another battle against the Wolf Pack on Sun., Sept. 27, at 3 p.m.
Worcester's training camp in preparation for the season opener on Saturday, Oct. 2 at Adirondack against the Phantoms will conclude on Sept. 30.
Entering their fourth season in Worcester, the Sharks look forward to another exciting season highlighted by the improvements of the ice surface at the DCU Center and the reduction of season ticket prices!
