Express To Participate In Community Service Project

Eau Claire, Wis. - The Eau Claire Express is teaming up with the City of Altoona on Thursday, August 11 to do some repair work on the Devney Little League Field in Altoona. This is one of many ways that the Express support local youth baseball organizations, but is the first time this season that the team has participated in an event of this nature.

Work done at the park will include resurfacing and reforming the infield, along with other general maintenance on the baseball facility there. The players will begin at 9:00 AM and will continue into the early afternoon before their scheduled game at 6:35 versus the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. The work materials will be sponsored by A-1 Rental Center in Eau Claire.
