Everblades ink Lehun to contract

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president & general manager Craig Brush, along with head coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward Jonathan Lehun (LUH-hun) has been signed to a contract for the 2005-06 season.

Lehun joins the Everblades after spending the last season with the Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League. During the 2004-05 campaign, the 21-year-old notched 50 points (17g, 33a) in 58 games regular season games, and added six points in eight playoff games for the Attack. A 6th round draft pick by the St. Louis Blues in 2003, Lehun also skated in 58 games with Owen Sound during the 2003-04 season, scoring 37 points (13g, 24a). Prior to playing at the junior level, Lehun played one season at the collegiate level with St. Cloud State in 2002-03, where he picked up eight goals and added eight assists.

The Everblades open the 2005-06 season on Friday, October 28 vs. the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:30 p.m. from Germain Arena! Everblades 2005-06 full season, half season, group tickets, and individual game tickets are on sale now!
