Falcons Host Idaho Steelheads this Saturday and Sunday

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons continue their 2005-06 home slate this weekend when they host the Idaho Steelheads on Saturday and Sunday at Save Mart Center.

Saturday's game begins at 7 p.m. and features rally towels for the first 2,000 fans courtesy of California Transplant Donor Network.

Sunday's 5 p.m. tilt against the 2003-04 Kelly Cup Champions is jam packed with giveaways and promotions. Kids 12 and under receive free admission, as they do at all Sunday Falcons games this season, and the first 2,000 fans will receive the first in a series of five Falcons posters to be given away this season courtesy of Supercuts.

Fans are also encouraged to wear Halloween costumes to Sunday's game, after which the Falcons players will adjourn to the arena concourse to trick-or-treat with fans. Please note, adults will not be allowed to wear masks inside Save Mart Center.

Finally, Sunday features a hockey double-header with the Fresno State club hockey team, as the Bulldogs will battle Arizona State at 1:15 p.m. at Save Mart Center. Tickets to the Falcons-Steelheads match-up at 5 p.m. give fans admittance to both games.

After a 2-0-0 start to begin the season, the Falcons travel to Long Beach tomorrow night for their first road game of the year. The game will be carried on 1550 Sporting News Radio on a tape delayed basis beginning at approximately 10 p.m. Single-game tickets for Saturday and Sunday's games against the Steelheads are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets and Save Mart Center's box office.
