MacIntyre back in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte Checkers head coach and general manager Derek Wilkinson announced today that Steve MacIntyre has been reassigned to the team from the Checkers' AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack.

MacIntyre, a left wing/defenseman, had yet to appear in a game for the Wolf Pack this season. Last year in 27 games with the Wolf Pack, the 6-6, 265-pound fourth-year pro registered a goal and an assist for two points along with 207 penalty minutes, and he totaled one goal and four assists for five points and 207 PIM in 46 ECHL games with the Checkers.

MacIntyre joined the Checkers for practice today will lace up the skates for this weekend's games against Columbia and South Carolina.
