
Everblades Announce Several Roster Moves

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades announced Tuesday the following roster moves:
Forward Gabriel Desjardins and defenseman Mike Little have been loaned to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.
Goaltender Allen York has been recalled by the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey league. In addition, Syracuse has signed forward Kevin Lynch to an AHL contract and have reassigned him to the Everblades.
The Everblades also have signed defenseman Bobby Preece.
Desjardins makes his second trip to Charlotte this season having logged an assist in five games played during his first stint with the Checkers. The 6-0, 212-pound forward has recorded 12 points (7g, 5a) in 17 games played with the Everblades this season.
Little joins the Checkers after posting 17 points (2g, 15a ) and a +18 rating in 19 appearances with the Everblades this year. The 5-9, 185-pound blueliner was scoreless in three AHL games played last season with the Norfolk Admirals.
York returns to Syracuse where he posted a 1-2-1 record, a 2.92 GAA and .900 save percentage in four appearances last season. This season, York boasts a 12-2-0-1 record, a 2.23 GAA, and a .906 save percentage in 15 appearances with the Everblades. York was named the CCM ECHL goaltender of the Week for the week of Oct. 27-Nov. 2.
Lynch returns to Florida after scoring a goal in 10 appearances with Syracuse during his recent AHL call up, earning him an AHL contract. Lynch has registered six points (1g, 5a ) in ten games played with the Everblades.
Preece joins the Everblades after totaling 13 points (2g, 11a) and a +13 rating in 56 games played last season with the Rapid City Rush. The 6-2, 205-pound defenseman amassed 56 points in three seasons played with the Quad City Mallards from 2010-2013.
The Everblades will continue its homestand on Wednesday, when they battle the Gwinnett Gladiators at Germain Arena. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. Promotional details for the game listed below.
