Grand Prairie AirHogs News Release

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- The Grand Prairie AirHogs completed a four-game sweep of the El Paso Diablos on Sunday, with David Espinosa finishing a triple shy of the cycle, Greg Porter homering and driving in three and Bo Schultz pitching six solid innings for his first win of the year as Grand Prairie won 4-1 in front of a Father's Day crowd of 2,188 at QuikTrip Park.

For the third time in the series the AirHogs (26-10) fell behind early, as Kyle Nichols's two-out RBI single gave the Diablos (9-27) a first-inning lead. But Schultz (1-1), making his second start of the season after 14 relief appearances, only allowed two baserunners in an inning once through his final five innings, and kept El Paso off the scoreboard the rest of the night.

After getting just one hit in the first two innings against Scott Hodsdon (0-2), the AirHogs rallied to take the lead for good in the third. With one out, Danny Figueroa singled and moved to second on an Espinosa single. After a groundout and a walk loaded the bases, Porter lined a single to bring in two and put Grand Prairie on top.

Espinosa and Porter hit solo home runs in the fifth and eighth, respectively, to provide the final margin, as Jon Fulton, Dustin Cameron and Jon Hunton faced the minimum nine hitters in the final three innings, with each working one frame and Hunton picking up his 10th save of the season.
