(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos have signed import offensive lineman Antonio Hall to a practice roster agreement, the club announced today.
The Kentucky product started the 2009 season with the Calgary Stampeders starting in one game but was released on July 8th. He signed as a free agent with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on August 31st and appeared in 10 games (two starts). Hall started his CFL career in 2005 with the 'Riders, spending the season on their practice roster. He left the league in 2007 to play for the Arena Football League's Chicago Rush. The Canton, Ohio native joined the Stampeders in 2008 and won the starting job before being placed on the nine-game injured list with an ankle injury.
