Edmonton, AB âThe Edmonton Eskimos announced today that veteran defensive back Jackie Kellogg has been released.
Kellogg, an 8 year CFL veteran, spent the last two years with the Eskimos. In 2002, Kellogg appeared in 18 regular season games, posting 50 tackles, 1 special teams tackle, 1 INT, 1 sack, and 4 pass knockdowns. In the 2002 CFL West Final, Kellogg finished with 4 defensive tackles. A product of Eastern Washington University, Kellogg signed as a free agent with Calgary in 1995 and spent six seasons with the Stampeders (1995-2000). He spent the first three games of 2001 with Calgary and was released. Kellogg signed as a free agent with Edmonton September 8, 2001.
