Errors Costly as KC Losing Skid Hits Five

FARGO, N.D. - The Kansas City T-Bones' defense aided Fargo-Moorhead to a 5-2 win on Friday night. Kansas City had three errors, which turned into two of the RedHawks' runs.

Kansas City played from behind starting in the second inning when the RedHawks scored the game's opening run on an infield RBI groundout from Keith Brachold, who went four-for-four from the plate. Fargo added an extra run in the third inning with an RBI single from Nic Jackson.

Kansas City back to within 2-1 when Jairo Perez and Brandon Jones each singled with two outs in the fourth inning.

Shaun Garceau (1-6) continues to be the T-Bones hard-luck pitcher. On Friday night, Garceau went six innings and allowed only one earned run to go along with five strikeouts.

RedHawks starting pitcher Alex Caldera (6-2) went seven innings and struck out nine T-Bones batters.

Kansas City (15-26) looks to break its current five-game losing skid Saturday night against Fargo-Moorhead (24-17) 6 p.m.
