Tonight, the SeaWolves go for back-to-back wins as they take on the Reading Phillies (Philadelphia Phillies) in the second game of a four-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the 'Wolves won a bizarre game which was completed early due to a dense fog that settled onto the field by an 11-7 count. The win puts the SeaWolves at three-games under .500 and in a fifth place tie in the division, 3.5 games out of first. The Phillies enter play tonight two games over .500 and in fourth place in the EL East, 6.5 games out of first...Reading boasts one of the league's top offenses. The R-Phils lead the league with 234 runs scored and are second in the league with a .273 batting average. This is a series that pits two of the top three offenses in the EL...Lefty Casey Crosby makes his ninth start and first against Reading. Crosby picked up a win in his last start at Richmond and has allowed just one run over his last 12 innings pitched. In his last game, he allowed a run on seven hits with three walks and five strikeouts in six innings of work. It was Crosby's first win since April 30...RHP J.C. Ramirez takes the mound for the Phillies making his ninth start and first against the SeaWolves. Ramirez took a loss in his last start against Richmond. In the game, the righty went eight innings, allowing three runs on six hits with no walks and six strikeouts. Ramirez went 4-0 with a 1.03 ERA in four April starts but is 1-3 with a 5.40 ERA during May.
