ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...

Tonight, the SeaWolves continue a seven-game homestand as they open up a three-game weekend series with the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals). The ‘Wolves have dropped four straight and eight of their last nine games. Erie was swept for the first time this season against Trenton to start the homestand. The ‘Wolves are in a three-way tie in third place in the Southern Division with Akron and Reading. The Senators are the top team in the South and are 2.5 games ahead of Bowie and five ahead of Erie. The Sens have dropped three straight and are 6-4 in their last 10 games. Harrisburg is the second first place team to come to Jerry Uht Park over the homestand and it is the first of four series they will play in Erie...The SeaWolves send leftie Luke French to the mound, making his second start against the Senators. He tossed eight shutout innings, allowing just three hits vs. Harrisburg on April 23. In that game, French retired the final 14 batters he face in picking up his first Double-A win. French is 2-0 with a no-decision in his last three starts, including tossing a complete game against Altoona in game two of a doubleheader his last time out...RHP Marco Estrada takes the mound for Harrisburg. Estrada has won two straight games against Altoona and Reading. In his last start, Estrada went five innings, allowing two runs, one earned, on four hits with two walks and a season-high seven strikeouts. It is his third start against Erie and is 1-1 in his previous two appearances against the ‘Wolves.
